2021年7月29日， 世界舞蹈总会代表处在中国正式注册成立。这是迄今为止在中华人民共和国公安部门合法注册登记的第一家境外舞蹈类国际组织。该代表处的成立将为舞蹈技术的学术交流、舞蹈培训的标准建设、舞蹈赛事的平台搭建以及文化和旅游的品牌推广等中外文化和旅游的交流活动起到积极的促进作用。
On July 29, 2021, the representative office of the World Dance Council was officially registered in China. This is the first overseas dance international organization legally registered with the Public Security Department of the People's Republic of China. The establishment of the representative office will play a positive role in promoting the exchange events of Chinese and foreign culture and tourism, such as the academic exchange of dance technology, the standard construction of dance training, the platform construction of dance events, and the brand promotion of culture and tourism.
世界舞蹈总会（World Dance Council，简称WDC）1953年成立，注册于英格兰，具有67年的历史，是一个全球性最高级别的职业舞蹈权威组织，也是联合国教科文组织的成员单位和国际奥委会TAFISA的会员单位。在全球范围内拥有60多个成员国单位和超过110个组织的会员单位。
